For the past 2 decades Ms Ruth Ann and Mr Russell have been at the forefront of a new style of home childcare. Creating bright, inviting intimate environments for young learners has blessed young families as they navigate the challenges of work & family. These two have been together since the early 90’s and have shared in the adventure of preschool & parenthood while raising their own family of seven.
Mr Russell enjoys and is gifted in equipping our early education teachers with the skills of student to provider bonding, humor, parent communication and storytelling to give each student their place in life’s story.
Ms Ruth Ann will put you at ease with seamless digital paperwork, easy hands free billing and digital sign-in from your smartphone. You’ll love the daily photos, videos, updates and quick communication from our parent/teacher app. Ms Ruth Ann has spent countless hours training and equipping our lead educators while passing on her values that have created young community leaders since 2000.
Pre-kindergarten theme based academics, imaginative play and the wonder of exploration are all provided in the closeness of a warm home environment.
We believe life lessons through valuable teachable moments will give your student the valuable social graces that are less than common in today’s world.
With a venue of healthy meal habits we will equip you and your little one to be healthy while having fun in the process.
Storytelling, hands on art, painting, crafting, science, mathematics, music & movement, dance, sign language, group activities and imagination are just some of the experience.
Our goal is to help families learn to eat together, play together and stay together. Students learn the vibrancy of life without screen time. This creates non-attention seeking behaviors. Families are stunned as students give up the need for instant gratification and find their place in the family. Your student will come home excited to help you after a long day at work!

Faith Trimble
Teacher
I have been an Early Childhood Educator since 2016, my passionate is working with children and their families. I fell in love with early childhood education by helping care for my youngest sister who is now 16, and lives in Oregon with my family. My goal has always been to provide an environment in which each child feels loved and valued as an individual. I strive to be the a role model for my students, because I believe that is a foundation for students to begin a positive outlook on education and their future. Some of my most influential role models are my life are my parents, my 8th grade teacher, Russ and Ruth.
My education is a blend of college classes and Early Childhood Education courses. My education places me with an AAOT in ECE. Basic trainings include, Infant/Child CPR, First Aide, Food Handler’s Card, Infant Safe Sleep and working with families through crisis.
In my free time, I volunteer with my local church, enjoy going on walks and taking road trips. Dancing is a new hobby I have taken up. In the summer time camping, playing at the lake or photographing nature capture my extra time.
I am excited to teach here, in Cedar Rapids and look forward to meeting you and your student.
